Important installation and break-in instructions.

1. Coat the camshaft lobes and lifter heads with quality cam lube (Torco MPZ cam lube) to protect the lobes and lifter faces from scuffing, galling and wear during start-up. If possible, break-in engine with Brad Penn Racing Oil SAE 30 Break-In Oil - this oil contains Zinc, which is recommened for tappet cams for proper break-in.

2. Start engine quickly without excessive cranking.

3. Run engine at 2000-2500 RPM for 30 minutes.

4. Change oil and re-adjust valve lash (aluminum pushrod = .004"–.006" lash, steel pushrods = .001"–.002").
